Canon 10D 20mm 2.8 hand held. To be fair it was hanging by the strap around my neck. I shot this long exposure waiting for the next train in a DC Metro station. Terrible lighting, unattractive architecture, but a lucky shot.  enlarge     topside

Canon 10D 20mm 2.8. This is Poncho. Poncho is a donkey. He likes people and he posed himself, I just pushed the button.  enlarge     topside

Canon 10D 50mm 1.8. I shot this at the Baltimore Aquarium, they have some nice exhibits and they're really well lit for photography. I can't really tell you anything about this frog, other than it looks happy.  enlarge     topside

Canon 10D 50mm 1.8. Another shot at the Baltimore Aquarium, call it a mini series if like. All of their animals look happy, this turtle also looks inquisitive.  enlarge     topside

Canon 10D 50mm 1.8. Another shot at the Baltimore Aquarium, third installment. Poison Dart Frogs are my favorite, and that is it for that sentence.  enlarge     topside

Canon 10D 50mm 1.8. Last of the mini series, shot at the National Zoo. I find that no skill is needed to shoot caged animals, just show up with some sort of camera. The animals do all of the work, either they're cool or not.  enlarge     topside

Canon 10D 50mm 1.8 natural light spilling in through high windows. Also ZeroPak, which is an old abandoned apple(the fruit) processing plant. This was the generator/power room? I think? Everything was painted bright red and I took many more cool shots, this is just my favorite one.  enlarge     topside

Canon 10D 50mm 1.8 and some flammable aerosol mesquite flavor spray. I had a chef as my assistant and it was his idea to spray in the mesquite from the side as I had my head in the grill. I had to work fast and dodge in and out of the grill to keep the camera at a safe temperature, though I was a sweaty mess by the end.  enlarge     topside

I shot this photo with my Canon AE1 and a 50mm 1.8 on Fuji Reala 100. I really like the soft warm tones you could pull out with Reala 100. I shot this with only available light and no reflectors or diffusion panels.  enlarge     topside

Again this was shot with my AE1 and a 50mm on Reala 100, only using available light. High saturation and a great location, I liked the architecture in the background.  enlarge     topside
